  • Will the installation cause my roof to leak? If so, who is responsible for repairs?"
It is extremely rare, but it has been seen. That's why we specifically warranty 6-inch radiuses of our roof penetrations.
  • What is solar energy?
Solar energy is the conversion of sunlight into electricity using photovoltaic (PV) panels or solar thermal collectors. It is a renewable and sustainable source of energy.
  • How do solar panels work?
Solar panels work by capturing energy from the sun and converting it into electricity. The panels contain photovoltaic cells which absorb sunlight and convert it into direct current (DC) electricity. This DC electricity is then converted into alternating current (AC) electricity, which is what powers your home and is able to be used to power your appliances and devices.
  • What are the benefits of solar energy?
Solar energy offers numerous benefits, including reduced electricity bills, lower carbon footprint, increased energy independence, potential financial incentives, and long-term savings. Please review our website: Benefits of Residential Solar Benefits of Commercial Solar Services Resources
  • Is my location suitable for solar?
Most locations receive enough sunlight to make solar panels viable. Factors such as roof orientation, shading, and local climate can affect the efficiency of solar panels. Part of our standard process is conducting a site visit to assess suitability for solar panel and battery placements. We always review the available sunlight for your location, for all times of the year! We also review available incentives and agreements, you are never alone.
  • Can solar panels power my entire home?
Yes! Solar panels are capable of powering an entire home; however, what it takes to accomplish this can vary. It all depends on available space, sunlight, electrical demand, and customer preferences. Our team of qualified professionals can help you design and install a custom solar panel system that meets your specific energy needs. We will assess your location, your electrical demand, and we help weigh the pros and cons of battery back-up systems or generators. We also provide you with information about available tax credits and other financial incentives that may be available to help offset the cost of the system. Contact us today to get started!
  • What happens during cloudy or rainy days?
Solar panels can still generate electricity on cloudy or rainy days, although at a reduced efficiency. However, most solar systems are connected to the grid, allowing you to draw electricity when needed.
  • How long do solar panels last?
Solar panels typically have a lifespan of 25-30 years, but they can continue to produce electricity beyond that period. Regular maintenance and cleaning can help maximize their efficiency and longevity. There are also products that help clean and protect your panels automatically. We will always review available solutions to make the best of your system.
